Inspiration Station - It Could Happen to You Too!

Amanda Brown, author of Legally Blonde, published her debut novel via a POD company. She sold the publishing rights to Penguin/Putnam in 2001, and sold the movie rights before the print edition was available in stores.

Lisa Genova, the author of Still Alice, self-published her novel on iUniverse for $450. After ten months, many great Amazon reviews, one literary agent, and one Boston Globe review later, she was picked up by Simon & Schuster and debuted at #5 on the NY Times Bestseller list.
